- Description
- The Contractor will be required to provide all Security Guard Services for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Brunswick (Glynco), Georgia; Artesia, New Mexico; Cheltenham, Maryland; and Charleston, South Carolina for a totaled estimated fenced perimeter patrol of 7,149 acres. This requirement involves the following: provide labor, equipment, supervision and management for Security Guard Services, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. This service is for a base period and seven options, which include four unilateral one-year options and three unilateral one-year award terms to be exercised and/or evaluated and awarded at the discretion of the government. This project is a competitive 8(a) set aside RFP (with mentor protege encouraged). The NAICS Code is 561612. Solicitations will be available for downloading on an estimated date of March 23, 2007 with a planned closing date of May 1, 2007. A Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit is planned for each site location. Information on the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit referencing date, time, and points of contact will be included in the solicitation. All interested and capable business firms are encouraged to download a copy of the solicitation and supporting documents from the FedBizOp at www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Bid and Performance Bonds will be required in the sum of 20% bid amount/awarded amount All eligible firms may submit a proposal in writing which will be considered by the agency.
