Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. No other solicitation documents will be issued for this requirement. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has a requirement for one suites hotel with meeting facilities and ability to feed lunch for assessment exercises and to house assessors. The facility must be within a 15 mile radius from the Dallas Fort Worth Airport. The hotel must have the following minimum requirements. Two conference rooms set up classroom style for 10 people each, tables and rooms should be large enough for 20 in each room, with a table and chair at the front of the room for test administrator, to be used for test prep sites. Rooms must have sufficient electrical sources to support computers. Rooms required for set up on 1st Sunday, testing Monday through Friday and breakdown on the last Saturday. One conference room, meeting room or conference suite, rather than a sleeping room, furnished with a boardroom style table, to be used as the Administrative Office. Two additional tables should be added to this room. Room required from 1st Sunday through last Friday. One area, with tables and chairs for 20 people, to be used as a break area/lunchroom for assessors. This space will be required Monday thru Friday each week. A separate area, with tables and chairs for 20 people, to be used as break area and lunchroom for candidates. This space will be required Monday thru Friday each week during lunch periods. Ten suites, with 3 chairs around a table in the sitting area, to be used for individual interviews. It is essential that these rooms be next to the Administrative Office, which serves as our central processing location. These rooms will be required from the 1st Sunday afternoon until checkout time on the last Saturday, 13 nights, Twenty sleeping rooms for assessors. These rooms will be required from the 1st Sunday for 13 nights, with checkout on the last Saturday. Four sleeping rooms for contractors. These rooms will be required from the 1st Sunday for 13 nights, with checkout on the last Saturday. A VCR and Monitor for the entire period. Twenty (20) lunches brought to the candidate break area each day for 10 days (Mon - Fri of each week), service split between 2 specified times. Twenty (20) lunches brought to the assessor break area each day for 10 days (same as above) at the specified time. DSL level internet availability in 2 conference rooms. All hotels must be FEMA certified. The required dates can be either July 29 through August 11, 2007 or August 5 through August 18, 2007. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13.5. All FAR Part 12 Clauses/Provisions are applicable. This notice is prepared using commercial items procedures in FAR Part 12. The following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The NAICS code is 721110. Contractor must be registered with Department of Defense Contractor Central Registration, CCR, (www.ccr.gov).
