- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with H*Works, 2245 M Street NW, Washington, DC 20037. The proposed contract action is for a contract which will require the company to analyze the patient flow from presentation to the Urgent Care Center to the time of discharge. The contractor will evaluate performance relative to demonstrated best practices, provide educational workshops, map current practices, identify improvement opportunities, select best practices to implement, create work plans, implementation teams, and practice launches. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. H*Works is knowledgeable with VHA policies, directives and procedures and has had experience conducting an analysis of this magnitude in complex VA Health Care Systems. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to the requirement no later than March 16, 2007, to be considered. Offerors must provide proof of expertise , experience, and ability to conduct this analysis and make final implementation plans. No solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
