- ***THE SITE VISIT HAS BEEN POSTPONED. AN AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON 13 MAR 07.****GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at HQ Air Intelligence Agency, San Antonio, TX. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The work is described as follows: maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance IAW the Performance Work Statement. Performance will commence on or about 01 May 07. The contract will include an anticipated base period from 1 May 07 ? 30 Sep 07 and four (4) subsequent pre-priced option year periods. THE PROPOSED SOLICITATION IS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 561210. The small business size standard is $23,500,000.00. The successful contractor will be selected using performance/price tradeoff procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. The solicitation shall be posted on or about 01 Mar 07 via Federal Business Opportunities website and paper copies will not be available. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit will be conducted prior to receipt of proposals. The specific date and time for this conference/site visit will be listed in the upcoming solicitation. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number and may take up to 3 weeks to process. For registration go to http://www.ccr.gov and follow the instructions. It is recommended to register immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
