Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport requires an offeror to provide spare/repair parts for the Radio Frequency Distribution and Control System (RFDACS). The RFDACS (OK-664(V) is being installed onboard submarines to support the Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR). The RFDACS provides rapid configuration; automatically routes RF signals and; controls and monitors antenna systems. This 3 year requirement will also include Options for Field Engineering Services to assist the Government to resolve technical issues. Evaluation Criteria: Best Value (Technical Approach, Past Performance and Price). To receive the Technical Data Package for the RFDACS Spare/Repair parts, send the following information to HOWARDVJ@NPT.NUWC.NAVY.MIL. Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone Number, Email Address and CAGE Code. All recipients of the Technical Data Package must be registered according to the DOD Joint Certification Program. See www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp for further information. The current manufacturer of the RFDACS is EADS North America, Irvine, CA. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
