- This soliciation is for Transportation/Box Delivery Service in the Mount Airy, NC Area. Suppliers awarded Contract Delivery Service contracts may be required to reside in the community of their New Post Office. Service is a combination of transportation and mailbox delivery. Offerors must provide a vehicle: Van with lift gate at least 600 cubic feet of useable space. Liftgate requirements are as follows: Vehicle must have a power tuck away liftgate with minimum dimensions of 80 inches deep and 48 inches wide. Minimum lift capacity for for liftgate must be rated at 2,500 pounds from the ground. Insurance requirements: $100,000 per person, $500,000 per accident, $100,000 per property damage.
