- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary to ensure that General Trucking Services, Kanto and Northern Japan is performed in accordance with the terms and conditions and applicable Japanese Laws and trade practices. The period of performance is anticipated to be for a one-year basic period with four (4) one-year options, for total five (5) years. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Sep 07. Offerors shall propose a transportation rate that includes but is not limited to tolls, licenses, costs of overtime, holiday work, or for operations during stormy and or inclement weather. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the U.S. Government considering the evaluation factors stated in the solicitation. The solicitation is exempted from set-aside for small business for all trucking services. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled at Yokota Air Base and more details will be posted on this page. AFFARS 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman is applicable. NOTE; THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
