Description

The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, on behalf of the US Army Medical Research and Material Command, has a requirement for Blood-Fluid Warmer and Pressure Infusion Systems. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The contracting office will accept NAICS codes 339112 and 334510. The basic quantity is 30 units, with an option for an additional 60 units. The Army requests option prices valid for one year after the date of award. The Army intends to also purchase associ ated disposables. The quantity of disposables will be established after reviewing price and capacity data provided by the successful offeror. Description: U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved, portable infusion system capable of warming and infusing crystalloid, colloid, or blood products, including packed red blood cells, at variable infusion flow rates. System shall warm cold blood or resuscitative fluids to normothermic temperature at flow rates to 500 ml per minute or greater. System sh all be indicated for trauma and massive fluid replacement. It is intended for use in rugged deployed field environments such as the Forward Surgical Team and Combat Support Hospital.
