Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number ESQ070017. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business concerns, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 423390. The Small BusinessSize Standard is 100 employees. Materials must be domestic. Furnish and deliver the following supplies to include 1) 380 rolls Barbed Wire, 12.5 gauge, 1320' rolls;A strand of two 12 1/2 ga galvanized wires twisted together with 2 point barbs of 14 ga wire spaced 4 inches apart. Wire and barbs shall be zinc coated steel, with a zinc coating of at least 0.3 oz/ft2 of coated surface area. The minimum breaking strength of each wire shall be 960 lb force. The barbed wire shall conform to ASTM A 121. 2) 175 rolls Smooth Brace Wire, 12.5 guage, 1320' rolls; A strand of two 12 1/2 ga, galvanized wire twisted together. Wire shall be zinc coated steel wire of at least 0.3 oz/ft2 of coated surface area. The minimum breaking strength of each wire shall be 950lb force. The barbless wire shall conform to ASTM A 121. 3) 78 bundles Twisted Wire Stays, 32", 100/bundle; twisted wire fence stays manufactured from smooth galvanized 9 ga. wire. Requesting 32 and 36 inch lengths, 100 count to a bundle. The delivery address is Bureau of Land Management, Dillon Field Office, 1005 Selway Drive, Dillon, MT. The FOB Point will be Destination. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible quoter that is most advantageous to the government. The provision at 52.212-01, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is applicable. The provision at 52.212-02, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable, and the following shall be included in paragraph (a) of this provision. QUOTERS SHALL FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PROVISIONS AT 52.212-03, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS, AND SUBMIT APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTATION WITH IT'S OFFER. The clause 52.212-04, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is applicable.
