Description

The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a continued requirement for field service representative services at Ft. Campbell, KY. This effort is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 13.5,Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government intends to award a contract to McDonnel Douglas Helicopters Company (MDHC), a subsidiary of Boeing, on a sole source basis. MDHC is the sole designer, developer, and tester of the Mission Enhanced Little Bird (MELB) design. They own all proprietary data and drawings. The current field service support under H92241-07-P-0015 ends on 30 June 2007. This effort will begin on 1 July 2007 for 12 months, with an option for an additional year of support. Solicitation number H92241-07-T-0014 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the response is due by 2:00PMest on 14 May 2007. Quote response must be submitted via e-mail (spowell@tapo.eustis.army.mil). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 541990 and small business standard of $6M. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO-A1.
