Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, National Finance Center, Computer Resources Management, intends to make a sole source award to Sterling Commerce, located in Irving, TX for proprietary software. The specific packages are: DIRECT AIX PACKAGE (38208); DIRECT WIN PACKAGE (35226); DIRECT AIX PACKAGE (114053); DIRECT OS390 CAP SERVER, DIRECT OS390 1-500 MIPS, DIRECT OS390 501-1000 MIPS (158333); CD OS390ZSERIES MAX 50 MIPS PACK (311661); and CD OS390 SEC+(128)BIT CAP (311662). This action is a follow-on to a previous contract award and will provide for the continued use of software previously purchased. If no responses are received within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice, the Government will issue a purchase order. Firms who believe they can meet this requirement should provide cost information that will enable the Contracting Officer to determine if competitive action is appropriate. The anticipated date of award is March 26th, 2007. The point of contact for all information is Brantt Lindsey, Contract Specialist, at the address listed above and the email address listed below. An RFQ/RFP is not available. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. Currently, funds are not available. The government anticipates receiving funds. If funds are not received by the Government for this procurement, the Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with submission of information in response to this synopsis.
