- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for services procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The office of NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service, Office of Enforcement, located in Juneau, Alaska intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for the following: 1.) installing, programming and testing of 67 Motorola portable/mobile radios and one Motorola base station at multiple locations throughout Alaska such as Kodiak, Dutch Harbor, Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka and Petersburg. Contractor to provide all equipment, services, and travel necessary to completely perform this contract. The performance period is 45 calendar days, with an anticipated start date of March 29, 2007 and completion date of May 13, 2007. The anticipated award date is March 29, 2007. The contractor requirements are as follows: Contractor must be a certified Motorola Installer. The contractor shall: 1) Develop four code plug types to work in Dutch Harbor, Kodiak, South Central Alaska, and Southeast Alaska 2) Install, Program and test 67 Motorola portable/mobile radios and one Motorola base station in all locations listed below. The contractor will be required to travel to each of the following locations to install, program and test the radios. a) Anchorage, Alaska to install radios, b) Kodiak, Alaska to install radios, c) Dutch Harbor, Alaska to install radios, d) Juneau, Alaska to install radios and base station, e) Sitka, Alaska to install radios, f) Ketchikan, Alaska to install radios, g) Petersburg, Alaska to install radios, 3) Provide weekly progress reports as to status This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
