- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Tallahassee, Florida intends to make a single award for the provision of Instructor for cosmetology services to the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Capital Circle N. E., Tallahassee, Florida. The contract is a firm-fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611710. The anticipated date of award is May 1, 2007. The contract performance period is anticipated to consist of a base period of twelve months from the effective date of award with one, one year option period for renewal at the discretion of the government. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 12, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will be made available upon request. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of solicitations is April 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. EST. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Contracor's Central Register (CCR) data base. The web site for registration is www.ccr.gov. Payment will be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On line Representation and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. A contractor must submit with their quote a resume and photocopies of documents evidencing education and training.
