Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking proposals fromm qualified individuals capable of working in a team environment to perform regulatory inspections of the producers of sexually explicit activity. The services will be primarily conducted at an FBI facility located in Van Nuys, California. The successful offerors shall demonstrate the ability to perform the following: 1) the review of materials containing depictions of sexually explicit materials for compliance with laws and regulations 2) the ability to follow printed instructions and complete checklists during product reviews 3) conduct internet searches for information relating to the producers of sexually explicit materials 4) travel with supervisory special agents (SSAs) to conduct on-site record keeping inspections at a producer's place of business 5) be observant of possible criminal violations during on-site inspections. The conduct of these inspections is comparable to an audit. Travel may be required to conduct on-site inspections throughout the United States. If travel is required, reimbursemenht shall be made in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR). Each applicant shall meet the following mandatory requirements: 1) a four year college degree 2) a current Secret level clearance or the ability to qualify for one 3) currently registered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR). Visit www.bpn.gov for addtional information. 4) Upon award, the satisfactory completion of psychological testing and interview 5) demonstrated experience in any of the following: internet related investigations; audits and inspections; preparation of reports summarizing details of compliance reviews and investigations; knowledge of criminal statutes and the ability to recognize and identify violations of local, state and federal laws. The FBIanticipates the award of multiple fixed price labor hour indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contractsw. The performance period for all services shall consist of a 12 month base and four 1 year options. The estimated minimum is 80 hours with a maximum of 2,000. The contractor shall possess a Secret level clearance prior to the commencement of contractor performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 30, 2007.
