Description
The Office of the Federal Detention Trustee (OFDT) on behalf of the United States Marshall Service (USMS), is conducting a Sources Sought synopsis for information purposes only. This is not a solicitation announcement. Currently, no solicitation is available. This request for information does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation of any submission to this Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this request for information is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be publicized in Federal Business Opportunities (Fedbizopps). All interested offerors will be required to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought synopsis. It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. The anticipated scope of services to be provided and their respective functional areas are detailed below: OFDT is in search of existing secured detention facility located in Brooklyn/Queens, New York with a capacity of not less than 200 beds to house persons in custody of USMS. The requirement will include secure transportation services within an approximate geographic radius of three hundred miles from the facility. Rehabilitation of an existing structure will be a consideration of this request. Interested parties having the required physical plant to meet the above requirement should submit a capability statement to include the following: Name and address of firm; Size of business; Average annual revenue for the past three years; Number of employees; Ownership; Small Business Association business classification (large, small, small/disadvantaged); Number of years in business; Affiliate information; Parent company; Joint venture partners; Potential teaming partners; Prime contractor (if potential sub-contractor); Subcontractors (if potential prime contractor); List of customers covering past five years (highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement, point of contact name/address/phone number). This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. All responses shall be submitted to Michael Moran no later than May 15, 2007.
