Description

Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Northern Region Contracting Center at Fort Eustis, VA intends to make award to Vitria Technology Inc on a sole-source non-competitive under solicitation W91QF-07-T-0030 to provide maintenance renewal software t o renew the U.S. Army Distributed Learning System (DLS). Software support is required for Saba Upgrade implementations. Vitria holds all propriety rights to the software, maintenance and upgrades. A fixed priced contract is contemplated. The NAICS Code is 541511, SIC CODE 7372. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business with revenue of $23.0M dollars or less. Quotes are due by 10:00 A.M., 16 Mar 2007. Therefore, in accordance with authority 41 U.S.C.253(c) (1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1 , the Government intends to make award to Virtia Technology Inc within 3 days after publication of this notice. A determination not to open the requirement to competition based on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the ag ency.
