DESC: 5360-01-540-4808; 5360-01-540-4806; 5305-01-540-4805; 5340-01-452-7984, Part Numbers 13012016; 13012017; 13011435; 12973131, The first item to procure is a M4 handguard Spring (5360-01-540-4808) F/M4A1 is made from corrosion resistant steel per SAE AMS 5528, .050 inch stock, heat treat to condition TH 1050 and hardness equivalent to rockwell C 38 to 46 with black oxide, akaline-chromate oxidizing process finish. The part is approximate 3.0 inches long x 0.295 inches wide. The second item to procure is a M4 handguard Spring (5360-01-540-4806) F/M4A1 is made from corrosion resistant steel per SAE AMS 5528, .050 inch stock, heat treat to condition TH 1050 and hardness equivalent to rockwell C 38 to 46 with black oxide, akaline -chromate oxidizing process finish. The part is approximate 2.20 inches long x 0.295 inches wide. The thrid item to procure is a Clampp Screw and Screw Retainer Assembly (5360-01-540-4805) f/m4a1 c/o: Retainer and Clamps Screws are made from corrosion resistant steel per SAE AMS 5528, .50 inch stock, heat treat to condition TH 1050 and hardness equival ent to rockwell C38 to 46 with black oxide, akaline-chromate oxidizing process finish. The part is approximate 1.265 inch x 0.379 inch x .336 inch. The fourth item to procure is a Rail Cover Spring (5340-01-452-4984) F/M4A1 is made from stainless steel, type 17-7PH per SAE AMS 5529, full hard, spring temper .020 inch stock, with black oxide, alkaline-chromate oxidizing process finish. The part is apro ximate 0.990 inch long x 0.205 inch wide. Minimum guaranteed requirements are 2,000 each, Flat Spring; 3,000 each, Flat Spring; 16,000 each Screw, Cap Socket; 1,000 each, Clip, Spring Tension. FOB is Origin. For use on the M-16. Estimated issue date is 29 March 2007. This solicitation will be i ssued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. A License Agreement between Knight's Armament Company and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items , being procured under this contract, within the US. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: ROCK-TACOM-tdp@CONUS.army.mil.
