- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma Desalting Plant, Yuma, Arizona, 85364, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Rural/Metro, 660 E 18th Place, Yuma, Arizona, for fire protection services. Competition is restricted to only one source due to exclusive service by Rural/Metro. Services required include: 24 hour first response team capabilities for chemical releases, 24 hour fire protection services for all YAO facilities and structures, annual fire extinguisher training for YAO fire marshals and HAZMAT team. Total square feet to be maintained is 258,490. This procurement will be awarded using FAR Part 13 procedures with an intended service period of one year beginning April 1, 2007. Anticipated award date is April 1, 2007. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
