Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia has a potential requirement to procure the following: Clin 0001, Advanced Vertical Wind Tunnel Coaching Course eight hours to include tunnel, five tandem rentals, twenty five lift tickets for AFF program lifts, student rental gear for 20 lifts. Clin 0002, Provide 10 video services, Provide Air to Air video/photo instruction to include but not limited to flying still and video cameras in free fall; basic photographic techniques; mounting and sighting cameras; video editing techniques; photographic printing and safety requirements unique to flying video/still camera. Period of Performance 9-20 April 2007, location is within 50 miles of Marana, Arizona. Requirements requested: Instructor must demonstrate both male & female competitor skydiving techniques. Instructor must have a minimum of 8000 logged free fall jumps. Instructor must have a minimum of 600 hours of coaching time in a vertical wind tunnel. Instructor must be able to certify coaches for Sky venture, LLC vertical wind tunnels. Instructor must be able to certify new instructors in all attitudes of body flight (belly, back, and vertical). Vertical wind tunnel must be located within 100 miles from Marana Arizona. Air-to-Air Video Instruction. Instructor must have am minimum of 8000 logged air-to-air video instruction. Instructor must cover own travel expenses. Instructor must demonstrate a positive past performance history. H92244-07-T-0034 is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Submit written offers; oral orders will not be accepted. This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15, 13 February 2007. North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) 611699 applies to this procurement. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO. This procurement is a small business set-aside. Proposals and questions shall be on company letterhead in company format and must be sent to the attention of Thelma Escobar either by fax (757) 492-7954, email thelma.escobar@vb.socom.mil or United States Postal mail addressed to NSWDG, Attn: Thelma Escobar, 1636 Regulus Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2299 by 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time on 26 March 2007. Proposals received after this timeframe shall not be considered for award. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government based on price. The prospective offeror must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.ccr.gov to be considered for award.
