- This amendment is issued to provide answers/questions and is provided as amendment 0001 to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. Closing date remains the same. Q1. This solicitation states it is covered under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial items. Please specify which commercial items are being acquired. A1. Per FAR 12.102 states that this part shall be used for the acquisition of supplies or services that meet the definition of commercial items at 2.101. Q2. Please specify the work to be done and where the work is to be done. Providing Principal engineering support for GPS Integration and Navigation Service is too general. A2. See Statement of Work as referenced in Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Q3. Why is the restriction on size for this NAICS (541330) set at 4.5M, when the aerospace and military weapons exception for the 541330 NAICS is set at 25M? NAICS code is changed to 541330 (Aerospace and Military Weapons). Size standard is now set at $25M. Q4. Is there an incumbent? If so who? A4. Cibola Information Systems is the incumbent contractor. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-MAR-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
