Description

DESCRIPTION: The National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST), has a requirement for Electrical Supplies, such as belts, junction boxes, connectors, electric couplings, receptacles and wires. Delivery for all items shall be completed not later than 45 days from the date of the award. Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination, Partial deliveries of complete line item quantities are acceptable, However, partial shipments shall not include less than 75 percent of the total order. The NAICS code for this requirement is 335999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees This requirement will be competed under full and open competition. The Small Business Administration Office has issued a class waiver for NAICS code 335999, Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Components Manufacturing. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, RFQ amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the internet at www.fedbizopps.gov under RFQ number SB1341-07-RQ-0126. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about March 27, 2007 and will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
