- Description
- This is a Sole Source Procurement upgrade of controller, drive and spindle for Giddings and Lewis Orion Horizontal Machining Center. This upgrade shall include all required electrical components, interfaces, etc. It is determined that G & L will re tain all proprietary data for its own use and not release any technical data. G & L has stated that they will not release any information regarding this piece of equipment to others and will retain ownership of their technical data. Companies that recogn izes these items/service and can provide supporting evidence, including written permission from G & L Machine Tools to use any proprietary data needed to perform the service described in the specification, to identify themselves. All data submitted will b e evaluated and if found technically acceptable may be considered in future procurements. Offerors other than G & L should submit detailed literature for evaluation to; Directorate of Contracting, Anniston Army Depot, 7 Frankford Ave, Bldg 221, Anniston, AL. 36201-4199.
