The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) has a requirement for a Quadcon Assembly, Adjustable Shelving Unit, Common 10 and Quadcon Assembly, Tool Cabinets & Adjustable Shelving Unit, Common 12 (Quadcon Assembly) will have adjustable shelving inside the container to be used by the USMC for storage of numerous different items. The Quadcon Assembly?s primary purpose is to store general mechanics toolboxes and other various items during storage and transportation under a wide variety of conditions. This unit shall consist of a Quadcon Assembly with adjustable shelving and a device to retain items in their intended locations. The usual operating procedure will be to load the Quadcon Assembly with the desired items and transport it to the work site, open it, issue general mechanics tool boxes or any other items that may be stored within this container, and start work. Once the general mechanic toolboxes are issue d to the Solider, then the Quadcon Assembly shall be used for any additional storage for items like MRE?s or any other items that may need to be stored in this unit. The adjustable shelving unit and the restraints used to hold items in their intended location, the centerpiece of the system, shall be a Commercial Off-The Shelf (COTS) development that shall need very few modifications to get the desired solution. The requirement will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a base year (date of award through 12 months) and 4 one year options. The minimum quantity is anticipated to be 10 and a maximum quantity of 600 per Quadcon Assembly for a total of 1200. This is an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS code is 332312 with a size standard of 500 employees. Request for Proposal (RFP) M67854-07-R-3031 will be posted on the internet at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, and Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NE CO) website at http://www.neco.navy.mil. The online version of the RF P will include all documents in the solicitation package. No hardcopy of this solicitation will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted to the same locations as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including the amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. The proposal shall be submitted in hardcopy form only. Electronic submission of proposals will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued in April 2007. Please hold all questions until the solicitation has been issued.
