Description: Solicitation Number N1774070601, The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract. The work of this contract consists of the removal and replacement of deteriorated asphalt roofing on Building 217 and 216 at Riis Landing, Queens, NY. LOCATION: Riis Landing, Gateway National Recreation Area, Jamaica Bay Unit is located in the Borough of Queens, New York, on Rockaway Peninsula. The zip code is 11695. Buildings 217 and 216 are located in Riis Landing at Jamaica Bay Inlet. From Belt Parkway exist 11 S and proceed South on Flatbush Ave. Cross Marine Parkway Bridge at South end of the bridge, exit right to Breezy Point. Precede Westerly on Rockaway Point Blvd. for a block. Turn right at signal light into Riis Landing. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. Contract duration is 180 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction).
