PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Solicitation Number Q1774070602. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract. The work of this contract consists of removal of mold on concealed building materials, trim and finishes, application of a mold treatment reagent and mold cleaning reagent and reconstruction. LOCATION: Building 136 at Fort Tilden - a part of Gateway National Recreation Area, Queens, NY 11695. From Belt Parkway exist 11 S and proceed South on Flatbush Ave. Cross Marine Parkway Bridge. At South end of the bridge, exit right to Breezy Point. Turn right at left signal light into Fort Tilden. The NAICS code for this project is 238990 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. Contract duration is 60 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) being made under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted. This contract is subject to a performance evaluation. The Contractor shall register at https://cpscontractor.nih.gov prior to contract award.
