- Description
- The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive procurement to the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization - International Institute for Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (UNESCO-IHE) in Delft, the Netherlands, for nonpersonal services (Delft3D modeling of the San Pablo Bay, CA. Two scientists working at UNESCO-IHE are the only known sources with proven experience in long-term modeling using the process-based 2D and 3D modes of the Delft3D model. The proposed prcourement action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. The majority of the work will occur in the Netherlands. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer (rdonez@usgs.gov) by e-mail only no later than the response date shown in this announcement.
