Description

This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. NACIS Code 237990, size standard $31.0M. Estimated construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Completion no later than 180 calendar days. Work includes approximately 2000 linear feet of flood contr ol to be restored caused by damage caused during heavy rain and high flows in November 2006. The repairs will include riprap replacement of approximately 600 linear feet of streambank, bank and channel excavation. Approximately 5000 cubic yards of material will be cleared from the Channel, and disposed of off site by the contractor. The streambanks along the channel were eroded, and will require reshaping. Additional work items include placing fill and seeding eroded areas adjacent to the flood control chan nel, and installation of an excess ladder into the channel. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
