Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis with C & S Antennas Inc, 730 21st ST DR SE, Hickory, NC 28602-4443, for the items listed below. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price commercial type contract. The Contract Line Item Numbers and descriptions are: CLIN 0001 P/N 3SK10636/2 Longshot Antenna (10 each). This equipment is required to fulfill the functional requirement of an 2-30 mHz broadband without an antenna coupler. The equipment must be form, fit, function and interface identical to the antenna items utilized in the fielded JBS systems to ensure interoperability, interchangeability and standardization. C & S Antennas Inc is the only known source capable of satisfying the Government?s minimum requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible interested parties may submit a proposal in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 26 March 2007, 0700 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
