Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic and the Norfolk Branch American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will host an Industry Forum ?Teaming for a Successful Future? on May 16, 2007, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. This one-day conference is designed to inform and connect leaders in the construction, real estate development, and architecture/engineering industries who team with NAVFAC Atlantic to provide the best infrastructure solutions to the Navy. This forum offers a chance to network with NAVFAC Atlantic?s top leaders and provides information you need on the latest policies, workload, standards, and initiatives within NAVFAC. Attendees will hear from NAVFAC leaders in the areas of acquisition, small business, environmental issues, engineering, design and construction, facilities support, and safety. The forum will also provide interactive discussion of issues important to NAVFAC and industry. There is a registration fee of $170 per attendee. This fee includes a pre-event reception, access to the forum, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and bound copies of key presentations.
