Description

The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring physical set-up and removal of seating system for US Coast Academy Commencement located in New London, CT. The Commencement date is 23 May 2007. The contractor shall provide all required supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to assemble an elevated stage and temporary increase in the seating capacity of the Academy?s Cadet Memorial Field from 2500 to approximately 4500. The contractor may be required to supply and install both rented and purchased stage and bleachers. The seating system will include a portable stage 48? wide by 32? deep by 4? high; portable bleachers providing a minimum of 485 seats; and a temporary bleacher system providing a minimum of 1500 seats. Drawings and detailed specifications will be made available with the issuance of solicitation. This requirement will be a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 532490. The Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 Million. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG84-07-Q-AA1206 will be available electronically, on or about 22 March 2007, by accessing Coast Guard website http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html.
