- Office of Oversight & Compliance Conference Space for the Dept of Veterans Affiars This RFQ VA-101-07-RQ-0207 is intended to procure Meeting Room and Guest Room accommodations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 05-15. The associated NAICS Code work shall be performed under is 721110. This acquisition is unrestricted; there will be no set aside. The provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items apply to this solicitation. A copy of the provision can be obtained at www.arnet.gov . Commercial items FAR clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. All Contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to being awarded a contract. Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of information added to CCR. To register go to http://www.ccr.gov/. Conference Requirements 100 Sleeping Rooms (Sunday, May 6 through Thursday, May 10) - Dates flexible.  I am assuming that checkout will be on Thursday around Noon but we will be meeting until late afternoon on Thursday. The VA is seeking hotel accommodation in the MD, VA-DC Metropolitan Area. 1 Large Conference Room to hold minimum of 100 people (Sunday through Thursday) Each Day 1 Overhead projector 1 Large Screen 1 Podium and Microphone 1 Wireless Microphone 1 Handheld Microphone Four Easels with Pads and Markers 1 Breakout Room (Monday through Thursday) Continental Breakfast inside or outside Main Conference Room (Monday through Thursday) Coffee, Juice and Water Refresh for Main Conference Room (Monday through Thursday) Lunch provided to participants either inside or outside Main Conference Room (Monday through Thursday) Snacks and Drinks (Coffee, Water, Soft Drinks) Mid-Afternoon either outside or inside Main Conference Room (Monday through Wednesday) THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT FOR A CONFREENCE PLANNER THE GOVERNMENT WILL NEGOTIATE its OWN AGREEMENT WITH THE HOTEL. Evaluation This award will be evaluated on a basis of lowest price technically acceptable. The Contractor will insure that they will provide the requirements listed above.
