Description
A pre-quote site visit will be held on 27 March 2007 at 0930. Interested parties will meet at March Air Reserve Base Pass and Registration parking lot near the Main Gate off of Meyer Drive. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials, transportation, delivery and appliances necessary to: Provide Golf Cart Maintenance for approximately 100 golf carts, both gas and electric to include, but not limited to, Club Car, GEM, Bombardier, Kawasaki and Cushman. All work to be completed on March Air Reserve Base, California, at a designated facility. Estimated workload for golf carts will include: 134 Quarterly Inspections, (Check the overall road worthiness of each cart. Ensure that each cart has acceptable tires, and batteries. Batteries will be serviced with fluids, and cleaned if necessary. Inspect battery chargers and battery cables. Perform minor lubrication as required on moving parts. Check lights and turn signals, if equipped, and fix as necessary.); 44 Annual Inspections; (Remove wheels and inspect the brake systems, steering mechanisms, ball joints, tie rods, etc., and other mechanical items not specifically listed, and fix as necessary. Wheel bearings will be inspected and lubricated yearly.) The contractor will remove all hazardous and EPA sensitive materials from the base on a daily basis. Items will include, but not be limited to old batteries, tires, used oil, grease and any others items deemed necessary. The fleet of golf carts has been receiving regularly scheduled maintenance for the past 11-months. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Unit price per annual inspection; Unit price per quarterly inspection, Parts mark-up percentage, and Labor hour rate (that only applies to emergency and/or unscheduled maintenance), these factors having the same weight. The start date of service shall be no later than 15 days ARO (after receipt of order) or sooner. This contract will have a Period of Performance from 19-APRIL-2007 to 30-SEP-2007
