Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement (No Substitutes): MFR: Dell,Inc. PN: Inspiron XPS M1710; 1 each; Laptop com puter. CONFIGURATION AS FOLLOWS: XPS M1710 Black; IntelR CoreTM 2 Duo T7200 (minimum 2.00GHz, 4MB L2 cache, 667MHz FSB). Operating System: Windows XP. LCD Panel: 17 inch UltraSharpTM Wide screen UXGA display with TrueLifeTM. Memory: A minimum of 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz, 2 DIMM. Optical Drive: 8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability. Video Card: 256MB NVIDIAR GeForceTM Go 7900 GS. Hard Drive: 100GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive. Sound Options: Integrated sound blaster R audigyTM HD software edition. No floppy drive and additional storage devices. Primary Battery: 80 WHr 9 cell lithium Ion primary battery. Carrying Case: XPS notebook backpack. No productivity software preinstalled. External Keyboard: Multi Media USB keyboard. Anti-Virus/Security Suite (preinstalled): Norton Internet security 2007 30-day trial. No digital imaging. External Mouse: Dell 2-button scroll optical USB mouse. Adobe Software: AdobeR AcrobatR Reader 7.0. Port Replicator: D/Port ad vanced port replicator. Wireless Networking Cards: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 internal wireless. No QuickSnap options. No cables and accessories. No additional power adapter. Three year limited warranty plus three year NBD onsite service. No installati on services. 1 each; Microwave Office software package; MFR: Applied Wave Research, Inc. to include the following: DESCRIPTION: 1 each; PN: MWO 225 PLW; Linear, HB, EM simulators, layout-locked. 1 each; PN: MWO 225 MLW; One year maintenance, linear, HB, EM simulators, layout-locked. 1 each; PN: HWK 200 PLW; Hardware Key, USB. FOB DESTINATION: Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Payment will be made by Government credit card under Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 12 noon, Mountain Standard Time, Mond ay, 26 March 2007. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the following best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the requirement, Proposed Delivery Schedule, Past Performance, and Price. The NAICS code is 334119. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price. All Electronic and Information Technology will be Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 com pliant. The following FAR provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, applies to the acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition (See evaluation criteria above). Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Tax Identification Number, CAGE Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number, and applicable FSC Codes with its offer .
