Description

The 119th Wing (WG) of the North Dakota Air National Guard (NDANG) intends to procure installation services on a sole source purchase order to Qwest Corporation. The award shall be for special construction consisting of installing 1.7 miles of condui t and fiber cable from the Qwest West Fargo Central Office and a location on the property of the NDANG. The stautory authority for contracting without providing full & open competition is FAR Part 6.302(a)(2). No other company has the proprietary knowledge or capability to provide these services at the location required in Fargo, ND. A solicitation package will not be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the governm ent will consider other responses received by 26 March 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any company, other than Qwest Corporation, who can provide the described products and/or services, must indicate their interest no later than close of business 26 March 2007, and should immediately contact the 119th WG Base Contracting Officer, SMSGT Brit D.
