Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to lease or rent medical scrubs uniforms for 60 people, including laundering services. The scrubs are to be in sets of both tops and bottoms , in a standard blue or green color, and in a variety of sizes such as small, medium, and large. Suggested quantity to begin service upon first delivery of scrubs is approximately 660 sets (tops and bottoms). Weekly scrub changes per person are to be appro ximately 5.5 changes each week. Rental period is to be for approximately 26 weeks beginning the week of April 9, 2007 through September 30, 2007, followed by 3 option years. Initial delivery of scrubs to begin service is needed no later than April 10, 2007 . Preferred initial delivery of scrubs is close of business on Friday, April 6, 2007 to allow for any unforseen delays. Pricing is to include rental, laundering and delivery. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registere d in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
