Description

DESC: 1005-01-091-7510, Part Number 9324931, the item to procure is a M19 Blank Firing Attachment used on the M2 .50 Cal Machine Gun. The Blank Firing Attachment consists of steel investment castings with connecting rod spacers approximate 33 inches long and a phosphate coating applied. First Article Test requires a function firing test, blank ammunition and an M2 Machine Gun will be provided. Contractors must comply with the requirements of DOD 5100.76-M, Safeguarding Sensitive Conventional Arms, Ammunition and Explosives as specified in the Statement of Work which is an attachment in the solicitation. The proposed contract will include a 200 percent option. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is on or about 06 April 2007. THIS DATE IS JUS T AN ESTIMATE. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
