(478) 222-1484 or e-mail at andrew.miller@robins.af.mil REQUEST FOR QUOTE - 1 Lot, Clean and install Government provided modular furniture IAW the attached statement of work. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATIONNOTIFICATION; THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING CONDUCTED UNDER SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. PROPOSALS ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 28 MAR 07 @ 2:00 P.M. EST. All qualified sources interested in this requirement should submit proposals to the above point of contact. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Ten calendar days from date of contract award. Statement of Work Install and Clean Modular Furniture 20 MAR 07 General Statement Of Work - Vendor is to move from on base government storage, clean using non hazardous methods and install system modular furniture into Modular Building located in the south parking lot of Bldg-230 IAW drawing 9Gb dated 23 FEB 07 Rev 3. 1) Pick up system furniture from three storage locations on Robins AFB. 2) Move system furniture to Modular Bldg South of B-230 3) Install walls of system furniture IAW attached diagram 4) Steam clean walls and desk tops of installed system furniture 5) Install A01 style desk tops, storage, and lights onto walls of system furniture, ensure lights work 6) Clean area after finish Note: Certain locations in modular building may not be constructed in time for all installs to be accomplished. See attached diagram for locations of “high wall cubes” (dark wall lines), These “high wall” areas may lag behind other areas during construction. Vendors are put on notice that more than one install period of performance may be necessary, and should price their quotes accordingly. This is limited to GCC/Large Conf Room and Small Conf Room shown on the diagram.
