Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure two (2) Modified Block Assemblies from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Welin Lambie. These modified Block Assemblies shall be installed on Dual Point Davit systems currently installed onboard the 210?, 270?, and 378? class Coast Guard cutters. The modified Block Assemblies shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000, no later than 6 weeks after receipt of an award. Each Block Assembly shall be individually preserved and packaged and marked with the Item Name, Stock Number (as applicable), Part Number, Cage Code, and Purchase Order Number. All engineering and technical information is proprietary to Welin Lambie. It is the Government?s belief that only Welin Lambie, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, can successfully manufacture the modified Block Assemblies therefore it is anticipated a fixed-price non-competitive purchase order shall be awarded to Welin Lambie. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within 5 calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information that must be submitted includes: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered block system (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered block system has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this purchase order. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, FAC 2005-15 (FEB 2007) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and FAR Part 6.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotations shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item's, with shipping included in unit price, the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation.
