Description
The 77 Aeronautical Systems Group, Contracting Division (77 AESG/PSK) intends to negotiate a sole source, three year firm-fixed price (FFP) requirements contract with Goodrich/Universal Propulsion Co. (CAGE Code 51998), in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)1, Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This DX rated requirement is for the teardown and quote, repair and test as needed to restore the following item to a serviceable condition so as to accomplish its intended purpose. All repairs and testing shall be made in accordance with current Universal Propulsion Co. (OEM) specifications, Technical Order specifications, and Appendix A, Work Specifications. Item Description: Load Arrestor, NSN: 1680-01-181-4175MH, Part Number 1171-3 applicable to the B-1B Acft. The B-1B ejection seat carriage locks seat in ejection posture. Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ): Basic Year 155 each, First Option Year 62 each, Second Option Year 65 each. Destination: FB2065 Robbins AFB, GA. Delivery is 20 each 60 days after receipt of repairable assets. Data is not available. Any concerns regarding this acquisition may be directed to the Contracting Officer. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels.
