Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct eight (08) pits and three (03) reservoirs. Work under this contract is located in Carter County, Montana, (maps and drawings to be included in the solicitation) and will include clearing, grubbing, excavating, embankment construction, and core trenching for the construction of minor earth dams and pits. Work will also include mobilization, common excavation of approximately 31,273 cubic yards, and approximately 6,843 cubic yards of embankment work. The contractor will have 68 days to complete this project after Notice to Proceed is officially issued. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and may be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Contractors receiving government contracts must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Information for CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov and for ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. Lack of registration in CCR and ORCA database will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. The solicitation will be posted on or about April 5, 2007. Response date for quotes will be on or about May 4, 2007. A tentative site visit is scheduled for on about April 19, 2007. A firm date for the site visit will be cited in Section L of the specifications. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
