Description

This project involves all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary for the removal of existing road bridge and staged construction of a new two-lane road bridge on Forest Road 1376000 at M.P. 0.56 known as Elk Creek #2 Bridge on the Gold Beach Ranger District on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest in Curry County, Oregon. The project site may be reached from Brookings, Oregon, by traveling east on County Road 874 approximately 7.5 miles to forest boundary and beginning of Forest Road 1376, then continue east on Forest Road 1376 approximately 0.56 miles to Elk Creek and project site. Performance period will be 210 calendar days. Price Range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 12, 2007. A performance and payment bond (100 percent each) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
