The correct SIR number is DTFAWA-07-R-01772, yet any references to the SIR made by an offeror using the additional appendage will be accepted. FAA's Security and Hazardous Materials (ASH) office has a requirement for IT operational support services. This includes services in the areas of desktop/email/application helpdesk support, local area network (LAN) support, wide area network (WAN) support, web applications (internet/intranet/extranet) operational and engineering support, application development and maintenance support, security accreditation and certification support, and specialized program support (General, HSPD12 related, classified system support, and Computer Forensics related). This acquisition will be conducted on a full and open competitive basis in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS). The successful offeror will be selected for contract award through the competitive process described in the SIR. Any questions should be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer, Patricia M. Ramsey, pat.ramsey@faa.gov, with a copy to the Contract Specialist, Ryan M. King, ryan.m.king@faa.gov, not later than 12:00 noon Eastern Time, 2 April 2007. Offers are due at the address contained in section L.15 of the SIR not later than 12:00 noon Eastern Time, 23 April 2007. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published on this website (http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm) under the Current Announcements for FAA Headquarters. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for updates to this procurement. If an amendment is issued and the offeror does not acknowledge it, the offeror may be considered nonresponsive to the solicitation. All amendments must be acknowledged. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this solicitation. Therefore any cost associated with responding to this announcement is solely at the offeror's expense.
