Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is 7011. The NAICS code is 721110. Solicitation is 100% Small Business Set Aside. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for lodging in the Schofield Barracks, Hawaii are a. Line items are as follows: Item 0001: 1 each, one bedroom, one bath, fully furnished condominiums beginning on 9 Apr thru 6 June 2007, 58 nights. Item 0002: 1 each, two bedroom, two bath, fully furnished condominiums beginning on 23 Apr thru 6 June 200 7, 44 nights. Item 0003: 7 each, one bedroom, one bath, fully furnished condominiums beginning on 27 Apr thru 6 June 2007, 280 nights. Item 0004: 2 each, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, w/loft, fully furnished condominiums beginning on 27 Apr thru 2 June 2007, 72 night s. Item 0005: 4 each, one bedroom, one bath, fully furnished condominiums beginning on 27 Apr thru 2 June 2007, 144 nights. Award will be based on the best value to the Government, which includes room rates, room tax rate, extended stay facilities such as A/C, microwave, refrigerators, k itchen, stove, coffee pot, TV, washer and dryer, iron/ironing board, data port, linen service, cleaning services, on-site restaurant, on-site fitness center and within 25-mile distance from Schofield Barracks. Rates will not exceed the lodging portion of t he local area per Diem rate authorized by the Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JTR) Volume 1 and 2. Government site visit is optional. The Government reserves the right to shift lodging dates and/or cancel completely at no cost to the Government. The Gover nment reserves the right to cancel after award if lodging facility is unsatisfactory or found to be non-compliant with the requirements. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest price if determined to be of best value to the Gov ernment. Payment shall be based on occupancy only. Facility must be registered with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) Fire Prevention and Control. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and C onditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Offerors need to include a complete copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer (registered in CCR, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and T ax ID Number). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
