Description: This is the second modification to previous synopses, reference numbers 07-14 posted on 19 December 2006 and reference number 0722 posted on 06 February 2007. The description is being modified as follows: From- The Government has an "urgent and compelling need" to field an initial AEP PTE capability no later than the Summer of 2007 based on 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(2) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)6.302-2(a)(2). To- The Government has "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" to field an initial AEP PTE capability no later than the Summer of 2007 based on 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)6.302-1(a)(2)".
