Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property, to construct nine wells located in Prairie, Custer, Carter, Fallon and Garfield counties, Montana. There will be nine (9) line items on the schedule: (1) Mobilization ; (2) 2060 Linear Ft Drilling Well Hole; (3) Install 9 ea, 8" Steel Surface Casing ;(4) Install 2060 Linear Ft, 4 1/2 inch PVC Casing; (5) 125 ea, Gravel Pack Material 50# bags; (6) 72 each, Medium Chip Bentonite 50# bags; (7) 18 hours Stand by Time; (8) 18 hours Well Development and Testing; (9) 9 hours Well Abandonment. The period of performance is 58 days and work is to start on/about June 1, 2007. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tentative site visit is scheduled for April 20, 2007. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov., and Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. The solicitation will be posted during the week of April 9, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about May 8, 2007. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns (see Note 1). The small business size standard is $31.0 million.
