Description

Solicitation N00421-07-T-0103 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Gichner Systems Group, LLC for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. This is proprietary to Gichner Systems Group, LLC who is the sole manufacturer and distributor. The contract line item numbers and description are **CLIN 0001 Quantity 2 ea P/N GSS 1497B Shelters, Tan (See Technical Notes 1 and 2), CLIN 0002 Quantity 1 ea P/N GSS 1497B Shelters, Green (See Technical Notes 1 and 2), CLIN 0003 Quantity 3 ea Pintle Extensions, CLIN 0004 Quantity 1 lt Shipping Charges to St. Inigoes, MD 20684-0010. Award is expected 09 Apr 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 05 Apr 2007 will be considered for future procurements by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
