- Key Management Systems Inc, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity-type contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing for one year with two one-year options. The one-year base period is valued at $999,996. The value of each option period is as follows: Option 1, $999,995 and Option 2, $999,999, for a total contract value of $2,999,990. Key Management Systems Inc will be providing engineering support to design, develop, integrate, test, and demonstrate Wifi secure Rover Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Position Location Information (PLI) - Tactical (WRIP-T) and SplitGate to the Department of Defense through SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego (SSC-SD). Work will be performed at SSC-SD and the contractors facility. The period of performance, to include options, is from 20 March 2007 through 19 March 2010. With regards to WRIP-T and SplitGate support, Key Management Systems Inc has the sole distribution rights to the modified Fortress and Newbury Network components/products that are critical to the WRIP-T/SplitGate development. For these reasons, this contract was sole source to Key Management Systems Inc. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego is the contracting activity (N66001-07-D-0026).
