- This solicitation is for two NSNs: 6850-01-485-5932, Cleaning Compound,Solvent; Unit container contains 5 gallons. Item being procured is Zip-Chem Products(Cage 1KQX9) part number: Calla 296; & 6850-01-485-5950, Cleaning Compound, Solvent; unit drum contains 55 gallons. Item being procured is Zip-Chem Products(Cage 1KQX9) part number: Calla 296. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Firm Fixed Price with EPA with one base year plus two option years. EPA will be at 10% per memorandum for record issued by the Deputy Director of Aviation Supplier Operations. Solicitation will not contain progress payments. Surge & Sustainment is not required for either NSN. For 6850-01-485-5932, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 161 CO for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 40 CO. The Maximum Contract Quantity is 241 CO for the base and option years. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 40 / 80 CO. For 6850-01-485-5950, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 300 DR for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 75 DR. The Maximum Contract Quantity is 450 DR for the base and option years. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 75 / 150 DR. Solicitation will be issued under the procedures of Other Than Full & Open Competition as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Both NSNs are for commercial items. FOB is Destination, and Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination for both NSNs. MSDS and OSHA Hazard Warning Label are required. Quantity Variance is plus 10% or minus 10%. Required delivery is 30 days ARO for each NSN. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. DLA-Direct delivery will be to Richmond, VA (SRG), New Cumberland, PA(SNG), & Tracy, CA (AQ5) for each NSN. These items are critical application items. These items are not Critical Safety Items (CSI), per a SAP interrogation on March 19,2007. The solicitation will be issued on April 10,2007 with a closing date of May 01,2007. Synopsis on Fed Biz Ops will occur on March 26,2007 for a period of 15 days.
