- CHANGE REFERENCE NUMBER TO AG-52B1-S-07-ORB-5016. REDUCE ANNUAL VALUE FROM $300,000.00 PER YEAR TO $175,000.00 PER YEAR TOTAL CONTRACT VALUE IS $$875,000.00 The US Forest Service, Monongahela National Forest, has a requirement to establish an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, multi-year supply contract for purchase and delivery of various aggregates, stone, rip-rap and shot rock. Delivery locations are throughout the Gauley, Marlinton and White Sulphur Ranger DistrictsAthens and Ironton Ranger Districts all within the counties of Greenbrier, Nicholas, Pocahontas and Webster, West Virginia. The Monongahela National Forest has approximately 1612 miles of single lane (including turnouts/turnarounds) aggregate, improved native, and native surfaced roads; 66 miles of two lane aggregate, improved native, and native surfaced roads; 32 bridge structures; 108 gates; and 21 cattle guards. Typical roads contain an average of 25 culverts or drainage dips per mile, and approximately 4 sign posts per mile. Typical roads also have at least one roadside ditch the full length of each mile of road. Most roads are located in forested areas with heavy vegetation beside and overhead of roads. The contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, and incidentals necessary to supply various sizes of aggregates, stone, rip-rap and shot rock to the FS at the locations and under the conditions specified in the solicitation. The requirement will be awarded as a fixed price multi-year contract. The requirement is for a base period of one year and four one-year option periods with a guaranteed minimum of $2,500.00 for the base period only. The maximum value for the base year and each option period is $175,000.00 per year with a maximum value for the base and all option years of $875,000.00. The government may make multiple awards with a maximum of one award per ranger district. Offers may be submitted for the Gauley Ranger District, the Marlinton Ranger District, the White Sulfur Ranger Districe; any combinationof Ranger Districts; or all Ranger Districts. The requirement is being solicited following Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13.5 ? TEST PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. The NAICS is 212312 with a small business size of 500 Employees. This solicitation will ONLY be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website: http://www.eps.gov/. It is anticipated that the requirement documents will be uploaded on-or-about March 28, 2007. Copies of the specifications and other solicitation documents will be uploaded to FEDBIZOPPS along with the solicitation.
