- Installation of Security Fence and Gate Control Video ATCT Facility, Waterloo Regional Airport, Waterloo, Iowa Project generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: a. Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout the fence, gate locations, new entrance configurations and provide horizontal and vertical control. b. Perform site preparation for the Security Fence, including: 1. Required grading and earthwork. 2. Required saw cutting of existing pavement and sidewalks. 3. Furnish and install reinforced concrete foundations, sidewalks, curbs, and pavements where required. 4. Required demolition and relocation of signs, and other miscellaneous items. 5. Furnish and install Earth Electrode System (EES). 6. Furnish and install conduit/cabling, and pulling of cables. 7. Furnish and install Security Equipment and all conduits, wire and components. Provide all necessary programming to ensure that all security components function as required. 8. Provide necessary training on gate operator, monitors and other security devices as required or furnished as part of this contract. 9. Furnish and install Chain Link Fence and all necessary hardware. 10. Furnish and install Gate Operator, and Gate Control Video, and CCTV camera and pole and all necessary hardware. 11. Repair and or replace all items, and areas impacted during construction to the original condition as directed by drawings/specs and/or as determined by the Engineer or local FAA. c. Accomplish other incidental duties to accommodate site peculiar conditions. d. Implement and maintain a quality control plan to ensure contract compliance. Conduct all required tests and checks to verify contract compliance. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROJECT. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE : $100,000.00 TO $250,000.00 NAIC: 238190 - $13 million To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
